Three children, Ernie, 8, Louis, 6, and 19-month-old Elsie, are shared by Helen and her ex-husband Richie Myler.

Louis was born in April 2017, and their son Ernie was born on June 19, 2015.

On December 28, 2021, they had an infant daughter named Elsie.

Skelton wed England national rugby league team member Richie Myler in December 2013.

Richie, a 33-year-old English and Leeds Rhinos rugby league player, and the 40-year-old media personality declared their separation in April of last year.

Richie had a child with his new fiancée Stephanie Thirkill, 32, the daughter of Leeds Rhinos president Andrew, after divorcing Helen.

Who Is Helen Skelton?

 

Helen Elizabeth Skelton, an English actress and television host, was born on July 19, 1983, in Carlisle, Cumbria. She co-hosted the BBC children’s show Blue Peter from 2008 to 2013 and has been a Countryfile presenter since 2014.

Alongside Angela Rippon and Joe Crowley, she co-hosted two seasons of the BBC One program Holiday Hit Squad. She also served as the host of the afternoon program The Instant Gardener, which aired for two seasons.

She attended the Kirkby Thore neighborhood primary school before transferring to Appleby Grammar School and eventually earning a BA in journalism from Cumbria Institute of the Arts.

She performed as an extra on Cutting It and Coronation Street while she was a college student.

According to Skelton, if she weren’t a broadcaster, she would work as a teacher. Gavin, her brother, played professional football and has experience as a player-manager.

Amy Wild: Amazon Summer, Skelton’s debut book, was released in May 2015. On October 12, 2023, Skelton’s autobiography, In My Stride, will be released.

Skelton co-hosts BBC Radio 5 Live Drive Time with Tony Livesey on occasion and hosts a weekly segment on the station on Sundays from 3 to 6 p.m.

Beginning on August 14, 2022, Skelton will present the revamped Sunday morning show on BBC Radio 5 Live from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. in lieu of Laura Whitmore.

The TV and radio star quits BBC Radio 5 after she allegedly come under fire from bosses for plugging brands during her time working for the BBC, and she bid an emotional farewell to listeners on Sunday as she explained she wanted to spend more of her weekend with her children.
