Who Is Orlando Bloom?

Orlando English actor Jonathan Blanchard Copeland Bloom was born on January 13, 1977. In the Lord of the Rings film trilogy, The Fellowship of the Ring (2001), The Two Towers (2002), and The Return of the King (2004), he achieved stardom as the character Legolas (2003). AAHe became more well-known for playing Will Turner in the Pirates of the Caribbean film trilogy, The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003), Dead Man’s Chest (2006), and At World’s End. He was regarded as the Errol Flynn of his day (2007).

Bloom starred in Hollywood productions as Black Hawk Down (2001), Ned Kelly (2003, Australia), Elizabethtown (2005, United States), and New York, I Love You (2007).

Additionally, he played Paris in Troy (2004), Balian de Ibelin in Kingdom of Heaven (2005), and the Duke of Buckingham in The Three Musketeers in these blockbuster movies (2011). Orlando Gibbons, an English composer from the 16th century, was the inspiration for Bloom, who was born on January 13, 1977, in Canterbury, Kent. Samantha Bloom, his elder sister, is a woman.

At first, Bloom thought that the South African-born anti-apartheid author Harry Bloom (1913–1981), who passed away when Bloom was just four years old, was his biological father. But when Bloom was thirteen, his mother told him that his real father was Colin Stone, a family acquaintance and partner of his mother.

After Harry Bloom passed away, Stone, the head of Concorde International Language School, was appointed Orlando Bloom’s legal guardian.

Bloom started dating Australian supermodel Miranda Kerr in the latter part of 2007. In June 2010, they made their engagement public, and they wed the following month. Their son Flynn was born on January 6, 2011, in Los Angeles. On October 25, 2013, Bloom and Kerr declared their intention to divorce after separating months earlier. By the end of 2013, they were separated.

Katy Perry, an American singer and songwriter, and Bloom started dating in January 2016. However, the couple announced their breakup in February 2017.

They started dating again in February 2018 and were engaged on February 14 of the following year.

On 5 March 2020, it was revealed through the music video for Perry’s song “Never Worn White” that the couple was expecting their first child together. Perry gave birth to their daughter Daisy on 26 August 2020.
