American Idol Star CJ Harris Death Cause
CJ Harris, an American Idol participant, passed away on Sunday at the age of 31.
The artist, who appeared to have a heart attack, was evacuated by paramedics from his hometown of Jasper, Alabama, to a nearby hospital. According to a TMZ report from Monday, the crooner, whose real name is Curtis “CJ” Harris, was declared dead shortly after entering the emergency hospital.
In 2014, the singer appeared on the reality TV program and advanced to the top six. He then became friends with Darius Rucker, who served as his mentor.

Judge Keith Urban told CJ, ‘You sing ’cause you have to sing, not ’cause you want to sing. And, I mean that in the deepest way. And, that’s why it’s so believable and real.’

He made it all the way to sixth place.
In 2014 he told The Hollywood Reporter he auditioned for American Idol on a whim. ‘I saw they were doing the bus tour and they were going to be 30 minutes down the road from me,’ he began.
He then added, ‘I said, “You know what? I’m going to give it another chance. I’ve gotten so much better, my voice has matured and my playing has gotten so much better. I’m 23, before you know it I’ll be 33 and I want to give it another chance,”‘ he shared.

He began studying the guitar on a broken one his grandfather gave him when he was eight years old. Even though it just had three strings, that was enough to hook him on music. He also picked up the piano and sung in the church choir.

He released an album named Small Town Boy as a self-employed musician before to appearing on American Idol.
