The start of the new year is the perfect time to reset your healthy living goals, and Apple Fitness+ is here to help. The subscription fitness and wellness service just cranked out a massive selection of new programs and workouts, helping users to try new things and stay engaged as they dive into 2025.

The upcoming releases of the new programs are scheduled for January 6 and will be available on various Apple devices such as iPhones, iPads, Apple TV, and Apple Watches. This gives you some time to get ready for them. However, with a multitude of new programs on the horizon, navigating through them can feel overwhelming, whether you are a new user or someone who has been using the service for a while. To make it easier for you, here are some of the key new programs that you should keep an eye on.

‘Three Perfect Weeks of Strength’

Strength training is currently a popular trend, and a fresh program has been introduced to help you catch up with it. This program consists of a progressive three-week plan that focuses on working out different major muscle groups through 12 half-hour sessions. The aim of this program is to deliver effective results and it can be repeated while gradually increasing the weights as you build your strength.

‘Strength, Endurance, and Agility for Pickleball’

Pickleball has gained immense popularity among the general public in 2022 and has become one of the fastest-growing sports worldwide. The Apple Fitness+ program dedicated to pickleball features professional player Catherine Parenteau guiding you through a combination of her own training routines. The focus is on enhancing your skills as a pickleball player with the help of these exercises.

‘Yoga Peak Poses’

This program really zeros in on the details of single peak poses in yoga, including dancer’s pose (Natarajasana), revolved hand to big toe pose (Parivrtta Hasta Padangusthasana), and crow pose (Kakasana). Each session has a 10-minute prep flow to warmup, followed by a 10-minute practice session.

‘Introduction to Breath Meditation’

Research1 has linked meditation and breath work to lower stress levels, but it can be tricky to know where to start. The program “Introduction to Breath Meditation” gives followers simple techniques to help tamp down on stress and improve focus. The programs are just 10 minutes, too.

Apple Fitness+ is also launching new Artist Spotlight series (which dedicates a workout playlist to one artist), featuring Janet Jackson, Coldplay, Bruno Mars, and Kendrick Lamar. New episodes of “Time to Walk,” which encourages users to walk to stories and songs from famous people, will roll out, too. Those feature episodes from Steve Aoki, Lana Condor, Rita Ora, Daddy Yankee, and Maddie Ziegler. And, if dance is more your speed, So You Think You Can Dance’s Alex Wong will release a 20-minute dance workout.

You can subscribe to Apple Fitness+ for $9.99/month or $79.99/year. Starting January 3, Strava users can get three months free (head to strava.com for more info).
