Chris Hughes Illness And Health Update- Why Was He Hospitalized?

Chris Hughes was admitted to the hospital after a terrible medical scare.

The 30-year-old Love Island star announced on Instagram on Wednesday that he has alcohol hepatitis following a wild night out on Saturday.

Chris had to be admitted to the hospital because his body was highly dehydrated as a result of a workout and sauna on Monday and was unable to process the alcohol he had consumed.

Scare: Chris Hughes has been hospitalised in a terrifying health scare

Chris claimed that he was actually “torturing his body” when he believed he was “sweating out” the toxins.

Chris posted a picture of himself in a medical gown with an IV drip and claimed that just one sip of water made him feel queasy.

So basically, all of my misbehavior on Saturday has created this, he wrote. I wasn’t actually drunk on Sunday and Monday when I posted about running the 4K; instead, I was “chronically dehydrated and have alcohol hepatitis”—which is not cool at all because it means that my liver is damaged and that I couldn’t drink, and the blood tests also confirmed that.

“Our NHS are phenomenally wonderful, as we know,” he continued. They have been extremely pleasant and thorough, which is the ideal combination in my opinion. I’m on this drip because I haven’t been able to drink any water; even a sip makes me queasy.

“I am destroyed. I’ve come to my senses. However, I can clearly see my problem.

I ran on Sunday, went to class on Monday, completed a 45-minute circuit there, burned 550 calories, and then spent another 45 minutes sweating in the sauna. I was abusing my body while I thought I was getting the alcohol out.

What is Alcohol Hepatitis?

Alcohol hepatitis is inflammation of the liver caused by drinking alcohol

The most common sign of alcoholic hepatitis is yellowing of the skin and whites of the eyes (jaundice).

Other signs and symptoms include:

  • Loss of appetite
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Abdominal tenderness
  • Fever, often low grade
  • Fatigue and weakness

The liver damage associated with mild alcoholic hepatitis is usually reversible if you stop drinking permanently.

Severe alcoholic hepatitis, however, is a serious and life-threatening illness.
