Jamie Foxx Health Update: What Happened To Jamie Foxx?
According to his daughter Corinne Foxx, Jamie Foxx experienced an unforeseen medical problem that required hospitalization.
The 55-year-old actor had a’medical difficulty’ that prompted him to be brought to the hospital, according to a statement posted on her Instagram account and credited to the actor’s family. Just last Monday, he and Cameron Diaz were in Atlanta filming Back In Action.
Although they did not specify what ailment Foxx had, the family added that he was now “on his way to recovery” in the message.
However, a source spoke to TMZ and classified the situation as a “medical emergency,” even though they said Foxx was now “communicating” once more.
‘We wanted to share that, my father, Jamie Foxx, experienced a medical complication yesterday [Tuesday],’ the family statement began.
Fortunately, thanks to prompt action and excellent care, he is now making progress toward recovery, they added.
We are grateful for your prayers and are aware of how loved he is. The family requests discretion at this time.
According to sources who spoke to TMZ, Foxx’s unidentified condition was certainly critical enough to warrant hospitalization.
There are currently few facts available, and it is unknown what symptoms the Oscar winner may have had or what precipitated his hospitalization.
There is currently no information available regarding when he will be able to leave the hospital or resume filming, despite his family’s claims that his condition is getting better.
Foxx has lately been in Atlanta, Georgia, where he has been filming the action-comedy Back In Action.
The film has been marketed as the return to acting for his costar Cameron Diaz, whom he helped to lure back for the film, though she reportedly plans to retire for good after a string of catastrophes on the film set. Glenn Close is also featured in the film.
Later, sources with direct knowledge of Foxx’s condition told TMZ that he had been taken to the hospital on Tuesday morning.

Foxx was last pictured on set on Monday. He was seen filming a scene with a women’s soccer team in Atlanta, while Diaz and costar Glenn Close filmed a separate scene cheering on the team
They stressed that the actor’s family traveled from out of town to be by his side at the hospital because his health was so critical.
He’s conversing now, which is wonderful news, said one insider, possibly implying that he was formerly unable to speak owing to the medical issue.
Foxx and Connie Kline, his ex-girlfriend, are parents to Corinne. He and Kristin Grannis are the parents of Annalise, a 13-year-old daughter.
