Lauren Harries Illness And Health Update
After the actress’ unsuccessful spine surgery left her bedridden and confined to the hospital, Lauren Harries’ mother gave a tragic health update.
The 45-year-old ex-Celebrity Big Brother housemate was first hospitalized in April after experiencing excruciating headaches and blackouts, and she later underwent urgent brain surgery.
Lauren needed ‘high-risk’ surgery after a split in her spine was discovered during an MRI scan, according to her mother Katy.
Though Lauren was anxious to “get home,” Katy has regrettably informed her followers that the operation was “unsuccessful” and she will be in the hospital for the foreseeable future.
Via her daughter’s official Twitter account, she wrote: ‘Lauren has had to have Spinal Surgery due to a split in her spine. This was very painful, It’s worrying as the spine is the most dangerous place to have an operation next to the brain’.

Sadly, the surgery was unsuccessful, therefore the doctors are exploring alternative procedures. She has now spent more than 2.5 months in the hospital.
Her spine concerns the physicians, thus she will be staying longer, the sentence continued. We have no idea why or how this occurred. All she wants is to get home.
It was revealed last month that Lauren had undergone significant brain surgery before being placed into an induced coma.
Her family shared on Lauren’s Twitter and kept fans updated: Lauren suffered a seizure last night, and physicians had to induce her into an induced coma to stop it.
“Lauren loves you all, and she needs all of your support and wishes.”

She told her followers on social media earlier this month that her illness had caused him to come close to passing away.
The television personality welcomed her Instagram followers by writing, “Hello, my stars.” Well, I remain in the hospital.
“Nearly passing away makes you value every second.” So savor the warmth and know that I’m thinking about you. Peace, light, and love.
She continued by posting a photo of one of her self-portraits, which she sells on her website, along with a few get well soon cards she has gotten.
Following Lauren’s ‘very scary’ blackouts and headaches, Lauren’s mother Katy posted a message asking for support. The soothing message was published the following day.
On April 14, Lauren underwent the operation for the first time; the cause was unknown.
As the NHS struggles to come up with solutions after saving her life, Katy, who has been providing updates on her daughter’s condition, has now begged for assistance.

Following an extremely trying moment, Lauren posted this comforting message on her blog.
Lauren’s mother updated Lauren on Twitter, writing: “Please help: Lauren has experienced several blackouts, which are followed by a drooping of the right side of her face.
This is very frightening for Lauren and me. She also frequently experiences headaches. Doctors have not been able to identify the root of these.
Have you or a loved one gone through this? asked Katy. Your suggestions or assistance would be greatly appreciated.
“The NHS saved Lauren, but there are no explanations for this and it is so terrifying when it happens,” said Lauren.
‘It happened again yesterday. Please help find out what’s causing these!’
Last month, Katy shared that Lauren was rushed to intensive care after catching infections before being moved back to neurology.
In the update, shared to Lauren’s official Twitter account at the time, Katy said Lauren was ‘awake and talking’ and urged people to ‘pray for her’.

Back in Neurology, she is awake and speaking once again. I wish to appreciate Heath Hospital’s wonderful team once more. She is strong, but she still has a long way to go. “Pray for her.”
