Maddy Anholt Death Cause: BBC Star Dies At Aged 35

After battling a rare brain cancer following the birth of her daughter, BBC personality Maddy Anholt passed away at the young age of 35.

Anholt, who had recently given child when she was diagnosed with the illness, appeared in various BBC, ITV, and Channel 4 sitcoms and was a frequent visitor on This Morning.

She wrote two books about domestic violence and unhealthy relationships while serving as an ambassador for Women’s Aid.

In a 2022 article for The Sun, Anholt discussed how to end an unhealthy or abusive relationship while taking care of yourself.

She appeared in a number of TV shows, such as Sunny D, Mariah: The Diva, the Emily Atack Show, and Jerk.

At both the Latitude Festival and the Edinburgh Fringe, the star was a crowd favorite.

Anholt studied acting with Miranda Hart and Bridget Christie, two well-known comedians, and presented her plays Diary of a Dating Addict and Rent Girl in front of sold-out crowds.

Her family announced the passing of Maddy Anholt, their cherished daughter, sister, twin, friend, wife, and mother, on Wednesday, September 13, at the age of 35, in a post on GoFundMe late last night.

You may be aware that Maddy received a diagnosis of a rare and aggressive form of brain cancer not long after the birth of her amazing daughter Opal last year.

She managed the subsequent surgery and treatment with amazing grace and bravery, being supported at every turn by her loved ones and her beloved husband, Ben.

She spent her last several weeks at Sunflower House, her parents’ house, where she was surrounded by love, peace, and the sounds of nature.

“We are overwhelmed with gratitude to the many friends who have upheld us with their love and prayers during this difficult time,” the family continued. “We are also grateful to the countless nurses, doctors, and members of the NHS who all treated her with unfailing dignity and compassion.”

“In particular we would like to thank the magnificent team at Seaton Hospice at Home, who are the embodiment of empathy, professionalism and love.”
