Mark Zuckerberg Hospitalized: What Happened To Mark Zuckerberg?

His injury comes after months of negotiating a fight with Tesla CEO Elon Musk.

This will inevitably delay a fight that he had scheduled for early in 2024.

He shared snaps from his hospital bed on Friday and told his 12.6 million Instagram followers that he underwent successful surgery on his left leg.

“Tore my ACL sparring and just got out of surgery to replace it,” He said.

“Grateful for the doctors and team taking care of me.

“I was training for a competitive MMA fight early next year, but now that’s delayed a bit.

“Still looking forward to doing it after I recover.

“Thanks to everyone for the love and support.”

The 39-year-old has been cage-fight training since 2020.

Zuckerberg was spotted working out in July alongside Alexander Volkanovski and Israel Adesanya, two UFC fighters.

After months of discussing terms for a fight, rumors of an MMA match between Musk and Zuckerberg fizzled out.

Zuckerberg stated to Forbes in September that he would not back down from his fight, even if the Musk confrontation never happens.

“Earlier this year, I started competing in jiu-jitsu,” the 39-year-old stated.

“I want to compete in mixed martial arts and have a professional bout within the next year. I’m excited about that, therefore.”

During an appearance on Joe Rogan’s podcast earlier this week, Musk declared that he is “still down” to take on Zuckerberg.

Unfortunately, he will be in the rehab and recovery process following his ACL injury.

ACL recovery usually takes around nine months to return to close to 100% post-surgery.
