The Jurassic Park actor revealed the information in his upcoming memoir, Did I Ever Tell You This, where he states that he is “possibly dying” in the first chapter.

Neill also disclosed to the BBC that he had non-Hodgkin lymphoma of “a ferocious type of aggressive” nature.
As a diversion and to “give me a reason to get through the day,” he started writing his autobiography.
The 50-year film career of the New Zealand actor will be examined in the book, as well as his untimely sickness.
While on a promotional trip for the movie Jurassic World Dominion last year, Neill noticed that he had lumpy glands on his neck and decided to get medical attention.
When physicians informed the Piano star of his diagnosis, he maintained his composure, and he started making plans to write a book about his life right away.
‘I thought I need to do something, and I thought, ‘Shall I start writing?’ he told the BBC.
‘I didn’t think I had a book in me, I just thought I’d write some stories. And I found it increasingly engrossing.
‘A year later, not only have I written the book — I didn’t use a ghostwriter — but it’s come out in record speed,’ he boasted.
He added that he “never had any intention to write a book” in reference to the literary endeavor.
However, Sam continued, “I realized it was actually sort of providing me a reason to live and I would go to bed thinking, “I’ll write about that tomorrow… that will entertain me.”
It was a genuine lifesaver because, as the saying goes, “I couldn’t have gone through that with nothing to do.”

Sam was determined to have angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.
Although he is currently in remission, he will require chemotherapy drugs for the remainder of his life.
AITL is “a rare, frequently but not always aggressive form of peripheral T-cell lymphoma (PTCL),” according to Lymphoma.org.
According to statistics, only one to two percent of NHL cases in the United States are caused by this particular form of blood cancer.
The website also notes that older people are more likely to get it.
A few signs include autoimmune diseases, night sweats, skin rashes, and high temperature.
The seasoned actor admitted, “I’m not afraid to die,” after reflecting on his life. But I’d find it annoying. Because, you know, I’d really like another decade or two.
“We’ve built all these lovely terraces, we have these cypress and olive trees, and I want to be around to see it all mature,” she said. I also have my adorable little grandkids. They should grow to be very large, please.
