Samie Elishi Illness And Surgery Update
Samie Elishi, a Love Island finalist, posted an emotional video on her YouTube account on Friday in which she talked about a recent cancer scare.
The 22-year-old brunette beauty disclosed to her followers that fans had noticed a tumor on her neck, which was diagnosed as “grade 3” by physicians, meaning they are unsure if it is cancerous or not.
It’s a 5 cm mass on my thyroid, Samie explained, adding that she was waiting for surgery so that physicians could take a biopsy.
Due to her ongoing health issues, she acknowledged that she hadn’t written a detailed statement about her recent breakup with her boyfriend Tom Clare.
Telling the camera: ‘It is intense, Me and Tom have broken up. It’s ended on good terms. No one’s done anything bad to each other, there’s still lots and lots of love there.

Honest: Samie told her followers fans spotted a lump on her neck which doctors revealed to be ‘grade 3’ meaning they cannot tell if it is cancerous or not
We both agreed on most of the issues, but it just didn’t seem right from the outside.
“There is no animosity between me and Tom there.” He wouldn’t say anything negative about me, and neither would I.
Continuing, “We simply weren’t working on the outside,” I believe that leaving the villa puts you under so much pressure and gives you so much more to worry about that it significantly affects relationships.
I assumed Tom and I would have a happily ever after, but things happen.
She then tearfully discussed her upcoming surgery saying: ‘Basically what they do is they cut your neck… I shouldn’t be upset because I’m so grateful that people messaged and I’ve caught it now. I’m so grateful.
But it’s still obviously very threatening. Young girl that I am, I’m beginning to see how typical it is now. Even Demi Jones went through it, which I observed.
Just seven months after being diagnosed with thyroid cancer, Demi, a 24-year-old co-star in reality television, declared in December 2021 that she was cancer-free.
A lump in the front of the neck is the primary sign of thyroid cancer. However, the disease often takes time to manifest and may not initially present with any symptoms.
A low-lying, painless lump or swelling in the front of the neck is frequently the result of thyroid cancer.

Heartbreak: Before adding: ‘But it is still obviously really scary. I’m a young girl, I’m realizing how common it is now. I even saw Demi Jones go through it’
