GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Elijah Lewis Moore, 16, has been charged as an adult with second-degree murder and moved to the Alachua County Jail.
Moore is charged with killing a man by shooting him in the head on February 16; a man was shot in the head at SW 31st Place and SW 26th Terrace, in the Phoenix area, on that date. The shooting is described as “imminently dangerous to another and evincing a depraved mind regardless of human life, although without any premeditated design to effect the death of any particular individual.”

Moore is being held without bail.
