GAINESVILLE, Fla. – Tyler James Carney, 18, of Dunnellon; and Cameron Leroy Troxell, 18, of Inverness, were arrested early Sunday morning and charged with criminal mischief over $1,000, a felony, after allegedly intentionally damaging the security gate at the Roberts Stadium Club.
The two men were reportedly captured on a security camera while “willfully and maliciously” damaging the security gate at about 3:45 a.m., causing over $1,000 in damage, in addition to interruption of the operation of the business.
The arrest affidavits say that one of the men spontaneously said he damaged the gate because he was upset, but the report doesn’t identify who said that.

Carney is a Dunnellon High School student and has no criminal history. Judge Aymer “Buck” Curtin released him on his own recognizance.
Troxell’s address is listed as Indiana, but according to court records, he moved to Inverness two days ago. He has no criminal history, and Judge Aymer “Buck” Curtin released him on his own recognizance.
