BRISTOL, Tenn. (WJHL) — The baseball field is gone, and Bristol Motor Speedway is set to host all three NASCAR series and the ARCA Menards series this week.

Racing gets underway Thursday with the ARCA and the NASCAR Craftsman Truck Series. Then, the NASCAR Xfinity series will take to the track on Friday.

Race weekend culminates in Saturday night’s Bass Pro Shops Night Race, which will again serve as the first elimination race of the NASCAR Cup Series Playoffs. At the end of the night, four drivers will be eliminated from Playoff contention, and 12 will move on to the next round.

The 12 drivers above the cutline going into Bristol are: Denny Hamlin, Chase Briscoe, Kyle Larson, Bubba Wallace, Ryan Blaney, William Byron, Tyler Reddick, Christopher Bell, Chase Elliott, Joey Logano, Ross Chastain, and Austin Cindric.

Hamlin and Briscoe will automatically advance to the next round after earning wins at Darlington and Gateway.

The four drivers below the line are Austin Dillon, Shane Van Gisbergen, Alex Bowman, and Josh Berry.

Friday’s Food City 300 will also serve as the opening Playoff race for the Xfinity Series and Thursday’s UNOH 200 will be the second race in the Round of 10 in the Truck Series Playoffs.
