TAMPA, Fla. (WFLA) — Looking for somewhere to cool off as the weather heats up? These Florida water parks have just the thing.

USA TODAY recently released the readers’ choice awards 10 Best Outdoor Water Parks in the U.S., and Florida dominates the list with 3 out of 10.

Coming in at No. 9 is Tampa’s own Adventure Island, located at 10001 N. McKinley Drive, Tampa, FL 33612.

There are water slides, pools, a lazy river, plenty of places to eat and a new splash pad for the little ones.

Island H2O Water Park in Kissimmee took the No. 6 spot with 20+ attractions ranked by thrill level.

Visitors can enjoy adrenaline-spiking slides, a lazy river that circles the park, a giant wave pool and even a private pool area for guests 21 and up.

SeaWorld’s Aquatica Orlando takes the No. 3 spot and has been in the top three of the 10 Best list for the last five years.

With 15 slides and pools to choose from, a lazy river, private cabanas and a chance to get an up-close look at the park’s dolphin exhibit, it’s not hard to see why this park is a fan-favorite.
