MYRTLE BEACH, S.C. (WBTW) — Some of Myrtle Beach’s most recognizable features will be on national display this week, as the city is featured on Wheel of Fortune shows starting Monday.

Through a partnership with Visit Myrtle Beach, the classic game show will highlight beaches, golf courses, attractions and restaurants. Contestants will have a chance to win Grand Strand vacations, while viewers are home can try and snag prizes through an Escape to the Beach giveaway.

North Myrtle Beach-native Vanna White and co-host Ryan Seacrest visited the Grand Strand in October 2024 to film show segments from various iconic locations, including the Myrtle Beach Boardwalk and Pine Lakes Country Club. Plus, White hosted local “Wheel Watchers” on a bus tour of the area.

White, who has been turning letters on the popular game show since 1983 and holds a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame, will also be back in the Myrtle Beach area during The Beach Week, attending the ONEflight Myrtle Beach Classic PGA TOUR event at the Dunes Golf and Beach Club, including participating in the tournament’s pro-am on May 7.

“Wheel of Fortune” airs locally in the Myrtle Beach and Pee Dee areas at 7 p.m. on WBTW News13.
