AUGUSTA, Ga. () – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office announced it has arrested another suspect in the murder of 16-year-old Sadiq Brown in Augusta back in July 2024.
According to police, Deontray Donovan, 20, was arrested without incident during a traffic stop on Gordon Highway near Olive Road at approximately 3:30 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 23.
Donovan is charged in the murder of Sadiq Brown that took place on July 5, 2024, at 2622 Peach Orchard Road, A-Town Wings.
Kieran Walters, 18, is still wanted for Murder in the incident. Those with information on where he might be are asked to call (706) 821-1000 or send an email to PIO@augustaga.gov.
A third suspect, 19-year-old Malcom Bryant, was arrested in August 2024 in the case.
On Donovan’s arrest, Sheriff Eugene Brantley said, “We will do whatever it takes to locate, arrest, and prosecute to the fullest extent of the law anyone who commits a violent crime in Augusta, Georgia.”
