Assistance Needed from the Public in Finding Man Missing Since March 2024

RICHMOND COUNTY, Ga. () – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office needs the public’s assistance in locating a man who was last seen in March of 2024.

According to authorities, Joseph Ronald Miele, 41, who is described to be 6’1”, 300 pounds, was last seen on the 2000 block of Ellis Street when he was evicted from a residence he was renting.

According to the incident report, Miele’s mother stated that her son has mental issues and was placed at the Ellis Street residence by Serenity Mental Health, but he was evicted in March 2024 by Serenity for failure to take his medication, and his mother states that she has not heard or seen him since.

Authorities say that Joseph Miele is possibly homeless and could possibly be in the Harrisburg or downtown area.
