AUGUSTA, Ga. () – Residents of Augusta were afforded a unique opportunity on Thursday to engage with their prospective representatives, all gathered under one roof.
The Historic Sand Hills Association, in collaboration with The Links Incorporated, organized a meet-and-greet on March 26. This event facilitated direct interactions between candidates and voters, allowing for meaningful face-to-face discussions.
Attendees seized the chance to pose questions and gain insights into the candidates’ positions ahead of the forthcoming election.
“Part of serving your community is ensuring that they’re informed about current happenings,” explained Tameka Allen, vice president of The Links. “The turnout tonight exceeded expectations. Our collaboration with the Sand Hills community group was outstanding, and it was a seamless partnership once again.”
NewsChannel 6’s own Dee Griffin hosted the evening as the event’s emcee.
