SANDERSVILLE, Ga. () – The Sandersville Police Department is investigating the death of a man who was found deceased on Monday.

The man, who was then pronounced deceased, was identified as Grady Smith. His body was transported to the Georgia Bureau of Investigation’s Crime Lab for an autopsy to determine the cause of death.

According to police, there were no obvious indications that Grady Smith was assaulted, but due to the unusual circumstances, investigators began a full in-depth investigation to rule out any possibility of foul play.
