BACON COUNTY, Ga. () — A gun and several pounds of drugs were seized in Bacon County after a traffic stop, according to local law enforcement.
During a traffic top on April 9, Georgia State Patrol (GSP) troopers reportedly saw a man, Phillip Shaun Beasley, throw an item out of his vehicle, which officials said where illegal narcotics.
Investigators seized a total of 10.4 grams of meth, 30.3 grams of marijuana, scales and other drug paraphernalia from the traffic stop, a Bacon County Sheriff’s Office press release said.
Following the stop, investigators executed a search warrant on Beasley’s home. During the search, law enforcement reportedly recovered a revolver, .2 grams of methamphetamine, three pounds of marijuana, 19 packages of Buprenorphine and Naloxone Sublingual film and other drug paraphernalia.
Beasley was charged with DUI, traffic violations and multiple drug-related charges.
