Police: Man arrested after standoff in Mosheim

A tense situation unfolded in Mosheim, Tennessee, on Tuesday when local authorities detained a man following a standoff on Blue Springs Parkway, as reported by the Mosheim Police Department (MPD).

The MPD issued a statement revealing that officers responded to an incident in the 7100 block of Blue Springs Parkway shortly after 4:30 p.m. This was in connection with reports of a burglary and the theft of firearms.

“The investigation led to allegations that Chad Eric Hefner, 38, had forcibly entered the mentioned location and stolen several firearms,” the police statement detailed.
