Missing mother last seen leaving Publix in Evans, Col. Co. authorities say

COLUMBIA COUNTY, Ga. () – The Columbia County Sheriff’s Office is asking for help in locating a mother who was last seen leaving a grocery store Monday afternoon.

Samantha Williams, 36, of Salley, S.C. and her daughter were seen on video walking into a the Publix at Riverwood Town Center on Aug. 18. Police stated the daughter said her mother told her she was going to get ice cream and to stay put because she would be back to get her, but Williams never returned.

According to police, Williams’ vehicle was later located in the parking lot. She was seen on camera at Furys Ferry and Evans to Lock Road where she entered a vehicle last seen headed towards South Carolina. Williams is said to have short blonde hair and wear glasses.

Anyone with information on Samantha Williams’ whereabouts should contact authorities.
