Authorities Report Teens in Critical Condition Following Shooting on Butler Manor Drive

HEPHZIBAH, Ga. – In a disturbing incident that unfolded on Monday night, two teenagers were shot on Butler Manor Drive in Hephzibah, as confirmed by the Richmond County Sheriff’s Office.

Authorities reported that deputies were dispatched to the 2800 block of Butler Manor Drive around 8:22 p.m. on October 27, following reports of two individuals with gunshot wounds.

The police report revealed that one of the young men suffered multiple gunshot wounds to the chest, while the other sustained a single gunshot wound.

Both teenagers were rushed to Wellstar hospital, where they are currently listed in serious condition, according to officials.

The case is being treated as an aggravated assault, and law enforcement officers remain on-site, actively investigating the circumstances surrounding the shooting.
