AUGUSTA, Ga. () – The Richmond County Sheriff’s Office is seeking to question an additional individual in connection with a recent suspicious death.

38-year-old Javon Latrelle Johnson is wanted for questioning in connection with the death of 62-year-old David Grigg at a home on the 2200 block of Harding Road on May 13.

According to investigators, deputies were escorted to Grigg’s body by his friend, found in the front room of the residence which was said to be “unsafe, nasty, and uninhabitable.”

Johnson currently has an outstanding warrant for his arrest in Richmond County for probation violation. He’s known to frequent the areas of Harding Road, Balfour Road and the 3000 block of Peach Orchard Road.

Earlier this week, investigators stated they were seeking to question two women in connection with the death. 34-year-old Jessica Renee Spurling and 48-year-old Kelly Noel McBurney are also wanted for questioning.

Spurling currently has an outstanding warrant for her arrest in Richmond County for a felony probation violation unrelated to this investigation, and both Spurling and McBurney are known to frequent the areas of Harding Road, Balfour Road, and the 3000 block of Peach Orchard Road.
