BCSO makes two drug arrests following investigation

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. () — The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) made two drug arrests on Tuesday following a months-long investigation.

BCSO was looking into suspected drug activity in the Poppy Hill Road area of Beaufort. They executed two search warrants on Sandstone Circle and Poppy Hill Road Tuesday.

Marvin Letony Huggins, 38 & Robert L’Antonio Drayton, 45

Marvin Letony Huggins, a 38-year-old from Beaufort was arrested and charged with:

  • trafficking cocaine
  • three counts of sale and distribution of cocaine
  • manufacturing crack cocaine
  • possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine

Rober L’Antonio Drayton, a 45-year-old man from Beaufort was also arrested and charged with:

  • trafficking cocaine
  • sale and distribution of cocaine
  • possession with intent to distribute cocaine
  • manufacturing crack cocaine
  • three counts of sale and distribution of crack cocaine
  • possession with intent to distribute crack cocaine
  • possession with intent to distribute marijuana
  • possession of a weapon by a felon.

BCSO officers seized cocaine, crack cocaine, marijuana, firearms and cash from the search.
