8 arrested, firearms and drugs seized in Beaufort County

BEAUFORT COUNTY, S.C. () – The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office has opened registration for the Community Emergency Response Team (CERT) training program.
The program provides training to Beaufort County residents who wish to enhance their self-sufficiency in the event of a disaster.

Those in attendance will learn how to provide emergency assistance to their families and neighbors. Classes are free of charge and are held at various times throughout the year.
Fall 2025 classes will be held at Hilton Head Fire Rescue, located at 40 Summit Drive on Hilton Head Island.

  • Tuesday, November 4, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 6, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Wednesday, November 12, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Thursday, November 13, 5:30-7:30 p.m.
  • Saturday, November 15, 8 a.m. until the end of the exercise
