LIBERTY COUNTY, Ga. () — On Tuesday morning, Liberty County High School was evacuated following a bomb threat, according to officials.
The Liberty County School System (LCSS) released a statement indicating that the evacuation was prompted by a bomb threat targeting the high school.
Upon receiving the threat, the school administration promptly notified law enforcement and moved students and staff to a designated safe area. Police are currently on the scene assessing the situation.
The school is under lockdown as authorities conduct a thorough search. Parents are urged to refrain from coming to the campus to prevent disruption of police activities.
