SAVANNAH, Ga () – Good morning! It’s Stormteam 3 Meteorologist Alysa Carsley, ready to help you enjoy a fantastic Thursday!

Expect unseasonably warm weather today and tomorrow, with temperatures flirting with record highs. This morning feels notably different, with temperatures around 10 degrees higher than yesterday. A feeble cold front is attempting to enter the region, but high pressure is preventing it from moving southward across the entire area. However, areas north of I-16 might experience a slight impact from the front. Although no rain is associated with it, the temperatures in those northern areas will range from the mid to upper 70s. Meanwhile, the rest of the region will enjoy temperatures in the low 80s with partly cloudy skies.

The current record high for today is 83°.

As we wrap up the work week on Friday, expect a continuation of today’s weather pattern. Temperatures will remain above average throughout the day, approaching record highs by the afternoon.

The record high for Friday stands at 82°.

Another cold front arrives Saturday evening with little to no rain. Isolated showers are possible, but most of us won’t see a drop or even pick up a tenth of an inch. This front will push off the coast Saturday night. “Cooler” air moves in overnight. Temperatures remain above average next week, but at least highs will only be in the mid 70s.

Quiet conditions for the first half of Thanksgiving week. We are keeping an eye on a cold front that could move in on Wednesday (Big Travel Day) or Thursday (Turkey Day). This one does seem like it could give us a higher chance of rain. Not sure at this point if it will be a beneficial rainfall. But something we will watch and iron out holiday details.
