A Winter Storm Warning remains in effect until 1 AM on Sunday, as issued by the Storm Team 11. This comes alongside a Cold Weather Advisory set to last from Saturday night into Sunday. Residents across the lower elevations should brace for wind chills ranging from a brisk 5 degrees above zero down to a bone-chilling minus 10 degrees. In the mountains, these biting temperatures could plummet even further, reaching between minus 10 and minus 20 degrees.

Tonight, expect the skies to remain cloudy as snow gradually diminishes throughout the evening. Some of the higher elevations might see a couple of inches of snow accumulation by night’s end. Temperatures are projected to drop significantly, with lows ranging between 2 and 6 degrees.

Sunday morning will continue with cloudy skies and the possibility of a few lingering snow showers. However, as the day progresses, sunshine is expected to break through by the afternoon, bringing a high of around 25 degrees.


As night falls on Sunday, clear skies will dominate, although temperatures will plummet to near zero, making for a very cold night. Looking ahead to Monday, the forecast predicts partly cloudy skies with temperatures climbing slightly to a high of 33 degrees.
