GOOSE CREEK, S.C. (WCBD) – An alum of Bravo’s “Southern Charm” was convicted and sentenced Friday after she was caught driving under the influence last year in South Carolina.

Kathyrn Dennis, 34, was sentenced to serve 30 days in Berkeley County jail on Friday.

Dennis was involved in a three-vehicle crash on Monday, May 20, 2024.

When officers arrived at the collision scene, bystanders informed police that Dennis might be impaired and they could smell alcohol on her, according to the incident report. The responding officers noticed Dennis had glossy eyes when she approached.

When police inspected Dennis’ vehicle, they saw an unopened mini-Fireball bottle on the driver’s side floorboard and an empty pink tumbler, the report states.

The responding officer went to speak with Dennis, and he said he also smelled alcohol coming from her. The officer asked if Dennis had been drinking or taking medication, and she said no.

While at the detention center, the officer said Dennis admitted to them that she had drunk alcohol ‘way earlier’ even though she said she had not initially.

Dennis appeared on the reality show from 2014 to 2022. It follows the lives of Charleston socialites as they navigate life, dating, drama, and more.
