BEAUFORT COUNTY, Ga. () — The Beaufort County Sheriff’s Office (BCSO) is investigating a shooting that injured multiple people on St. Helena.

BCSO confirmed at least 20 were injured during the shooting, 4 people were transported in critical condition to the hospital and 4 were pronounced deceased at the scene.

No shooter has been apprehended. BCSO is investigating persons of interest.

The incident occurred at approximately 1 a.m. on Sunday, when BCSO received multiple reports of a shooting at Willie’s Bar and Grill, located on 7 Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Dr.

Several people were found suffering from gunshot wounds. BCSO learned that at least a hundred people were at the location when the shooting took place.

According to BCSO, multiple victims sustained injuries and were taken by the Beaufort County EMS to the hospital. BCSO says more gunshot victims arrived on their own at the hospital.
