Edgar Co. fire depts. respond to early morning house fire

DENNISON, Ill. (WCIA) — Early Friday morning, several fire departments from Edgar County were called to tackle a house fire.

According to Paris Fire Chief Zack Janis in a Facebook update, the incident occurred around 4 a.m. when crews from the City of Paris Fire Department, Paris Community Fire Protection District, and Horizon Health Ambulance were alerted to a structure fire on the 1900 block of Berry Street. This location is in Dennison, Edgar County, situated southeast of Paris, near the crossroads of E County Road 200 N and Berry Street.
