URBANA, Ill. — A woman from Urbana has been handed a 30-year prison sentence following her admission of guilt in connection to a fatal stabbing last year.

Sharon Moore, aged 46, initially faced multiple charges, including four counts of first-degree murder, obstruction of justice, and possession of drug paraphernalia. However, upon pleading guilty on December 29, 2025, the severity of her charges was reduced to a single count of first-degree murder, with the other charges being dropped.
