It’s a weekend full of sunshine and heat – As the weekend unfolds, Central Florida wakes to a calm, clear morning. High pressure is in control, keeping things dry and sunny across the region.

Saturday is setting up to be a perfect day for outdoor plans. With highs reaching into the low 90s inland and a light breeze (10-15 mph).

The coast stays a little cooler, thanks to that sea breeze, but the sun is still out in full force.

Todays’ highs

For anyone heading to the beach, it’s perfect weather, but there’s a high rip current risk.

By Sunday, the heat really starts to build. Expect Orlando to climb to a scorching 94°F, just three degrees shy of the all-time record set in 1908. Inland areas will feel the full intensity of the heat, with temperatures pushing into the mid-90s. The sea breeze will kick in later, offering a bit of relief along the coast, but it’ll still be a hot day everywhere.
