BVPD: Man arrested in Bristol after police find meth, fentanyl

BRISTOL, Va. (WJHL) — Authorities from the Bristol Virginia Police Department (BVPD) reported the arrest of a man on Thursday after a routine traffic stop unearthed nearly a pound of methamphetamine and an ounce of fentanyl.

According to a news release from the BVPD, the stop occurred around 2:40 a.m. on Thursday along the 2700 block of Lee Highway. The Washington County Virginia Sheriff’s Office supported the operation by providing both a deputy and a K-9 unit.
