WARRENVILLE, S.C. () – Bruce’s Bar and Grill is place you can get good food, relax, and enjoy a game of pool.

Recently, the “Your Hometown Road Trip,” team stopped in to speak with Manager Kimmy Bailey about the business, how much the community has supported it over the years, and more.

When I put out a post saying where I needed to go, a lot of people said here, why do think that is?

“We have the best burgers in the CSRA, we love our people, and we love our food, so it comes from the heart, it’s not just your everyday restaurant.”

What’s this place all about?

“We’re open 7 days a week, we do everything from scratch as much as possible, as you see. We have blown up since COVID actually. Everyone didn’t know how good the food was, and when everything had to shut down we had to come up with something different. So, we stayed here, cranked the food out, word got out, and it’s just gotten better and better.”

What food are you known for?

“First thing I tell everyone to start with is a cheeseburger, hand cut home fries. It a half pound patty, fresh, never frozen. We hand patty them multiple times a day. Another favorite is the wings, those are fresh never frozen also. We got 75 cent wings on Wednesday nights after 6 p.m., and all day on Thursday when you dine in, can’t beat that one. Then the Philly cheesesteak with our hand made pub chips, that’s going to have onions, bell peppers, mushrooms, a generous amount of cheese as you can see, and there’s some mayonnaise in there.”

Anything you want to say to your customers for making this place special?

“We couldn’t do it without you, we love you guys, thank you so much, and for our new friends, we have free pool after 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday nights. We have a different special each day of the week. We got steak night on Monday, Taco Tuesday, Weenie Wednesdays, like I said wings on Thursdays, and for the rest of the week you never know what we’re going to do, and then Sundays we do like the family style dinners, so we’ll have four different meats, a bunch of different sides, homemade desserts.”
