ORANGE COUNTY, Fla. – Due to a brush fire, State Road 408 near the University of Central Florida is currently closed to all traffic.

The blaze erupted in the vicinity of Challenger Parkway and has now been contained, confirmed officials from the Orange County Fire Rescue.

Firefighters have managed to bring the situation under control, yet the highway remains off-limits in both directions as safety precautions continue.
