ORLANDO, Fla. – As November progresses, Central Florida is steadily emerging from the cold snap it experienced earlier in the month. The region is set to enjoy a warming trend that is projected to extend through the Thanksgiving holiday.
By the time families gather for Thanksgiving, the area will be under the influence of a mid-level atmospheric high-pressure ridge. This weather pattern is known for fostering warm and dry conditions while steering storm systems away to the north.
This atmospheric feature is expected to maintain above-average temperatures for Central Florida as Thanksgiving approaches, ensuring a pleasant and mild holiday atmosphere.
These weather systems promote warm and dry weather and help to deflect storm systems to the north.
That weather feature should keep Central Florida above average in the temperature department for Thanksgiving.
Most of interior Central Florida should climb into the lower 80s, with the mid-80s not out of the question for the afternoon high temperature.
The morning will likely start in the upper 50s and low 60s.
The weather should be dry as well.
The News 6 weather team will fine tune the forecast as we get closer to the holiday.
