ORLANDO, Fla. – After enduring a week marked by unusually cold temperatures, residents of Central Florida are finally experiencing a welcome warm-up just in time for the weekend.
Friday promises much more comfortable weather, with temperatures set to rise into the low to mid-70s, offering a pleasant change.
For those planning a beach outing to enjoy the milder weather, it’s important to note a moderate risk of rip currents that could affect safety.

Saturday-Thursday
A ridge of high pressure settles over the area Saturday, keeping winds on the lighter side.
Another weak front tries to move in on Monday, but it’s not expected to bring rain and should fall apart over Central or South Florida by Tuesday.
Temperatures & Fog
Highs climb into the upper 70s and low 80s this weekend.
Early next week, many inland spots will reach the low to mid-80s, with coastal areas hovering near 80.
Dewpoints are slowly rising, too, which means patchy late-night and early-morning fog is possible into next week.
