In the heart of Central Florida, residents can expect a spell of warm and tranquil weather, punctuated by a few isolated showers this week. This forecast sets the stage for a comfortable climate, making it an ideal time for outdoor activities.

Forecast for Tuesday and Wednesday

The influence of high pressure over the Southeast is gradually shifting offshore. This transition brings with it a gentle onshore breeze that will dominate the region. As a result, we can look forward to partly cloudy skies accompanied by a steady warming trend. While there is a slight chance of light coastal showers, the probability of rain remains minimal, hovering between 10-20%.

On Tuesday, temperatures are expected to climb into the low to mid-70s, with an even warmer outlook for Wednesday as highs reach the upper 70s.

Overnight lows will fall into the low to mid-50s inland and low 60s along the coast.

Thursday & Friday

Conditions begin to change late Thursday as a weakening cold front approaches. This could lead to a few more scattered showers Thursday afternoon into the evening, with coverage around 20-30%.

The front moves through late Friday, bringing mostly dry conditions behind it. Don’t expect a big change in the temperatures as highs will remain above normal, with highs in the upper 70s to low 80s.

Weekend

High pressure builds back in and quickly turns winds onshore once again. Warm conditions will continue into early next week, with highs remaining in the upper 70s to low 80s.

The overall forecast remains mostly dry into early next week.

Christmas Preview

Looking ahead to Christmas, the forecast is shaping up to stay on the mild side, with no major changes.

Current trends show relatively quiet weather for a large portion of the country as well, which should be good for those planning on traveling during the holidays.
