Champaign Central High School apologizes for inadvertent letter announcing mask ban

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Champaign Central High School has issued an apology after mistakenly sending out a letter to parents that inaccurately stated face coverings would be prohibited within the school.

Acting Superintendent Dan Casillas clarified in a subsequent communication that the initial letter was an unfinished draft and was “distributed inadvertently.”
