New Champaign clinic focuses on disorders impacting nearly 10% of population

CHAMPAIGN, Ill. — A groundbreaking clinic dedicated to helping individuals with eating disorders has officially opened its doors in Central Illinois, marking a significant development in the region’s healthcare landscape.

The KC Eating Disorder Clinic, located in Champaign, celebrated its grand opening last week. Already, it has begun providing essential services to clients, thanks to a team of experienced psychologists and dieticians. CEO Kaitlyn Cornell emphasized the clinic’s unique status, noting that it is the only facility of its kind in Illinois outside of the Chicago area, focusing exclusively on treating eating disorders.
