U of I’s Newman Hall offering alternate meal options after receiving red placard

A Champaign-based Japanese eatery, Sushi Man, has resumed operations with a yellow placard after a recent health department re-inspection.

Located at 2028 N Prospect Avenue, Sushi Man underwent a follow-up inspection on November 26, following a previous inspection on November 7 that resulted in a red placard. This re-inspection led to the reinstatement of their health permit, the removal of the red placard indicating closure, and the issuance of a yellow food safety alert placard.
