CHAMPAIGN, Ill. (WCIA) — Rosecrance Behavioral Health in Champaign has unveiled a new facility dedicated to urgent care and triage services, specifically designed for adults experiencing mental health crises.
This newly opened center is equipped to assess up to six individuals simultaneously and offers crisis stabilization support for an additional six people.
“We anticipate that those seeking help here might be grappling with suicidal thoughts, have encountered issues with their medication, or require medication adjustments for mental health conditions,” explained Liz Miner-McIntyre, who leads the crisis services team.
