(NEXSTAR) – Charges have been dismissed against a group of teenagers linked to a prank that inadvertently resulted in the death of a Georgia teacher, as confirmed by the district attorney of Georgia’s Northeastern Judicial Circuit to Nexstar.
Jayden Wallace, an 18-year-old from North Hall High School in Gainesville, Georgia, was one of five students initially charged following the tragic incident. Wallace faced charges including first-degree vehicular homicide, reckless driving, criminal trespass, and littering on private property. The remaining four students, also 18 years old, were charged with criminal trespass and littering.
