Salvation Army of Augusta, Escape Outdoors launching donation drive

AUGUSTA, Ga. () – The Salvation Army of Augusta is partnering with Escape Outdoors in order to help people in the community stay cool and hydrated with a donation drive.

Throughout the month of May, The Salvation Army is collecting boxed fans and bottled water to support clients at its Center of Hope shelter and others in the community who may not have reliable access to air conditioning or safe drinking water.

Donations can be dropped off at the following locations:

  • Escape Outdoors – 377 Furys Ferry Rd, Martinez, GA 30907
  • Escape Outdoors – 387 Highland Ave, Augusta, GA 30909
  • Any Salvation Army location, including the Center of Hope, the Kroc Center, and all local Family Stores
