TAMPA, Fla. (BLOOM) — Thousands of Easter eggs, family-friendly activities and festive food vendors will fill Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park later this month for what organizers say will be downtown Tampa’s largest egg hunt.

Ashley’s Eggsploration, hosted by the Tampa Downtown Partnership, will take place from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, April 19. The free event is open to all ages and features a wide range of attractions, including a meet-and-greet with the Easter Bunny, bounce houses, a mobile kids’ spa and a mimosa bar for adults 21 and older.

In addition to the egg hunt, attendees can enjoy balloon animals, face painting, a bike helmet decorating station, and a market with food and retail vendors.

The event will be held at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park, located at 1001 N. Boulevard.

Volunteers are also needed to help with check-in, egg drop-offs, photo assistance and other duties. Those interested can sign up at
