Christian Co. Crime Stoppers seeks information on Stonington tire theft

STONINGTON, Ill. (WCIA) — The Stonington Police Department and Christian County Crime Stoppers are asking for help in finding the person(s) who recently stole a set of truck tires.

Officials said the crime happened “sometime over the past couple of days” in the area of Jack Detro Drive and Vine St. The tires, which included the rims, were stolen with no damage to the property. The dollar amount of the theft is unknown at this time.

Anyone who has information on this or any other crime is asked to contact Christian County Crime Stoppers. Crime Stoppers will pay cash rewards of up to $1,000 for information that leads to an arrest, and they will pay double for information that leads to an arrest for a Crime of the Week, such as this one.
