BLUFF CITY, Tenn. (WJHL) — Authorities have detained a man accused of breaking into a Bluff City Little League concession stand by exploiting a roof opening.
According to a press release from the Bluff City Police Department (BCPD), officers responded to a burglary in progress at approximately 4:43 a.m. on Tuesday.
Upon arrival at the scene, officers discovered a significant hole in the concession area’s roof, which appeared to have been used as an entry point. Additionally, they noted that several locks on the premises were damaged.
Police located a man hiding in the vicinity, who was later identified as Daniel Rutledge, according to the BCPD.
